I fight wildlife crime. My passion for ending the poaching and trafficking of wildlife drives me; much more than work, it is my reason to be.

Hi, I am Allison Skidmore, welcome to Leave Them Wild! It is probably no surprise to learn that I have been a vegetarian since I was a child. I am against all forms of animal and wildlife exploitation. Besides working on wildlife trafficking issues, I am also a fervent advocate against the private ownership of exotic animals- particularly big cats. I believe archaic practices and organizations, like circuses, cub-petting facilities, and road-side zoos, should be banned outright. I support The Big Cat Public Safety Act (H.R. 1380- S.2561), a federal bill that would nationally ban the private ownership of big cats and stop exploitative roadside zoos from offering cub petting and photo ops.
